Teen Patti by JILI Review: Classic Rules, Tables and Commission
Teen Patti by JILI is a digital version of the classic game, with boot, blind, seen and side show at a table of up to five seats. You play your own hand and make decisions during the round, rather than simply backing one of two hands as in 20-20.
The in-game rules explain these mechanics clearly, but they do not say whether your opponents are real players or bots.

About JILI
JILI Games supplies the digital table reviewed here. The illustrated dealer is part of the interface, not a live video host.
The provider also makes Teen Patti 20-20 by JILI and Teen Patti Joker by JILI.
How to Play Teen Patti by JILI
A round runs in five stages. Our guide to how to play Teen Patti explains the general flow for beginners.
-
1Choose a table
Compare the boot, minimum entry and pool limit of each level. Your balance must meet the entry requirement.
-
2Pay the boot
Each player puts in the opening amount and receives three cards. This starts the pot before any further betting.
-
3Choose Blind or See
You can keep playing without looking at your cards, or reveal them to yourself with See. Looking gives you information; it does not change the cards.
-
4Act on your turn
Depending on your situation you can call, raise, pack or request a side show. Pack ends your part in the hand.
-
5Resolve the round
The last player who has not packed wins automatically. Otherwise, a requested showdown or the pot reaching its limit leads to a comparison of hands.
Hand Rankings
The JILI Teen Patti rules use this hierarchy, from strongest to weakest:
| Hand | Meaning | Order within the category |
|---|---|---|
| Trail / Set | Three cards of one rank | AAA > KKK > ... > 222 |
| Pure Sequence | Three consecutive cards of one suit | AKQ > A23 > KQJ > ... > 432 |
| Sequence | Three consecutive cards, not all one suit | AKQ > A23 > KQJ > ... > 432 |
| Color | Three cards of one suit, not consecutive | AKJ > AK10 > ... > 532 |
| Pair | Two matching ranks and a different card | AAK > AAQ > ... > 223 |
| High Card | None of the above | Compare card values from highest down |
A-2-3 is the second-highest sequence, below A-K-Q but above K-Q-J. The same order applies to Pure Sequence.
Hands are compared by category first, then by card values. If two hands are still equal, the round is a tie, except in a requested showdown, where the player who asked for it loses. Our Teen Patti rules guide explains the standard terminology.
Blind, Seen, Show and Side Show
Blind means continuing without seeing your cards; seen means you have looked. On the LV6 table in our screenshot the boot is 2.5, and the two Blind buttons show 2.5 and 5.
The rules specify:
- No more than four consecutive blinds per round.
- A blind player can ask for a showdown only when two players remain.
- On your turn, you can request a comparison with the opponent on your left.
- With three or more players still in the hand, that opponent may accept or decline.
- If the compared hands are equal, the player who asked for the comparison loses.
Once a player reaches the individual betting limit, they can still call but cannot raise. When the pot reaches its limit, a forced showdown takes place. Our Teen Patti strategy guide covers when playing blind makes sense.
Table Levels, Boot and Pot Limits
The lobby shows these values without a currency symbol; they are in the currency of your casino account:
| Level | Boot | Minimum entry | Pool limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| LV3 | 1 | 320 | 512 |
| LV4 | 1.5 | 480 | 768 |
| LV5 | 2 | 640 | 1,024 |
| LV6 (HOT) | 2.5 | 1,600 | 2,560 |
| LV7 | 4 | 2,560 | 4,096 |
At LV3 to LV5, the minimum entry is 320 times the boot and the pot limit is 512 times the boot. At LV6 and LV7, those multiples rise to 640 and 1,024.
So the jump changes more than the opening stake: the pot can grow twice as far relative to the boot before a forced comparison. The HOT label does not mean better odds.
In our screenshot the LV7 Join button is grey because the balance was below its 2,560 minimum entry. LV3 is the lowest level shown and the natural place to start. Minimum entry is only an eligibility threshold, not a promise that your balance will last a certain number of rounds.
The 5% Commission: How the House Earns
The published settlement formula is:
Winner's reward = own total bet + 0.95 × losing players' total bets.
Suppose five players each put in 10. The pot is 50 and one player wins:
- Own stake returned: 10.
- Opponents' stakes: 40.
- Amount received from opponents: 40 × 0.95 = 38.
- Total return: 48; commission: 2.
The deduction is 5% of the opponents' money, which is 4% of the whole pot in this example. Your own returned stake is not charged.
With several winners, each gets their own stake back plus an equal share of the losers' stakes, after the same deduction.
An official RTP is not published. The 0.95 factor is a commission rule, not a fixed 95% return for any individual player: results also depend on the cards, your decisions and what your opponents do.

| Side bets | None in the classic rules | Pair Plus and 6 Card Bonus |
Tips for Playing
- Start at the lowest level. A smaller boot does not make repeated calls free.
- Track your total stake. The number on the next button is only your next decision, not your full exposure.
- Respect the blind limit. Four consecutive blinds is the maximum, not a target.
- Remember the side show tie rule. The player who asks loses when hands match.
- Watch the pot limit. A forced comparison can end the round before everyone packs.
- Set a stopping point. Neither higher stakes nor longer sessions remove the commission.
A note on interruptions. The rules say malfunctions void all pays and plays, but also that the system completes an interrupted game and pays the player. A bet that was accepted before a disconnection stays valid if you can no longer affect the outcome. So do not assume every connection failure means a refund.

Our Verdict
Teen Patti by JILI suits players who want classic three-card play with real decisions and the chance to bluff. Its strongest feature is the clear split between paying to continue, looking at your cards and requesting a comparison.
Our score is 7/10. It reflects that structure and the clear level table, balanced against the commission, the unpublished RTP and the side show tie rule. If you want different mechanics, compare other Teen Patti variations.
FAQ
Is Teen Patti by JILI the same as Teen Patti 20-20?
No. This version uses individual hands and decisions during play, while 20-20 is about betting on two competing hands plus separate bonus bets.
How many players sit at a JILI Teen Patti table?
There are up to five seats. The rules do not say whether the other players are people or bots.
How much commission does JILI Teen Patti take?
The house keeps 5% of the losing players' stakes. The winner's own stake is returned without any deduction.
How many times can I play blind in a row?
The rules allow up to four consecutive blinds per round. After that you have to look at your cards to continue.
What happens if hands are equal in a side show?
The player who asked for the comparison loses. This differs from an ordinary tie, where the winners share the losing stakes under the settlement formula.
Why can't I join a higher table level?
Your balance must meet that level's minimum entry. LV7, for example, requires 2,560, even though its boot is only 4.
