Teen Patti by ElCasino Review: Rules, Payouts and RTP
Teen Patti by ElCasino is a live dealer game built around two competing three-card hands: Player A and Player B. You predict the outcome before the deal; there is no bluffing, folding or decision to make once the cards arrive.
The rules quote an optimal return of 97.5%, but that figure applies only to the main bets. Our calculations put the 50:1 Tie bet at about 5.64%.

About ElCasino
ElCasino is BETCORE's live-casino brand, introduced by TVBET. Its portfolio includes roulette, blackjack and Indian card games, including Andar Bahar.
The studio uses an automatic shuffling machine and a scanner that reads each card's unique barcode. Decks are replaced several times a day, and immediately if a card is damaged or leaves the camera's view.
For a comparison with another Indian live format, see our Teen Patti vs Andar Bahar guide.
How to Play Teen Patti by ElCasino
Each round has one betting period, followed by the deal and settlement.
-
1Place bets before the countdown ends
The layout separates the blue and red hands, the central Tie field and the side bets. You can bet on more than one field.
-
2Watch the deal
The dealer starts with Player A and alternates between the two hands until each has three cards.
-
3Compare the hands
The stronger combination wins. Equal combinations are decided by their ranks and kickers; complete equality is a draw.
-
4Settle each bet separately
Winning bets receive their listed payouts. On a draw, bets on Player A and Player B are returned.

If a round is cancelled under the rules, for example because of a scanner error or a damaged card, all bets on that round are void and refunded. Our how-to-play guide explains the classic version, where decisions during the hand matter.
Hand Rankings
The three-card hierarchy runs from strongest to weakest:
| Rank | Hand | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Three of a Kind | J♦ J♥ J♣ |
| 2 | Straight Flush | 8♥ 9♥ 10♥ |
| 3 | Straight | 7♥ 8♠ 9♦ |
| 4 | Flush | K♣ Q♣ 9♣ |
| 5 | Pair | A♣ A♥ 3♠ |
| 6 | High Card | A♦ 7♦ 6♠ |
Aces are high, but A-2-3 also counts as a straight and beats K-Q-J. K-A-2 is not a straight.
Two hands of the same category do not automatically tie: the higher-ranked cards win, and then the kickers decide (A-A-K beats A-A-Q). A draw happens only when all three ranks match.
The order matches the classic Teen Patti rankings: Trail is Three of a Kind, Pure Sequence is Straight Flush, Sequence is Straight and Color is Flush.
Bets and Payouts
These are net-win odds: the original stake is also returned on a winning bet.
| Bet | Winning result | Payout |
|---|---|---|
| Player A | A wins | 0.95:1 |
| Player B | B wins | 0.95:1 |
| Tie | Equal hands, including kickers | 50:1 |
| Pair + | Pair | 1:1 |
| Pair + | Flush | 3:1 |
| Pair + | Straight | 6:1 |
| Pair + | Straight Flush | 30:1 |
| Pair + | Three of a Kind (not aces) | 40:1 |
| Pair + | Three Aces | 50:1 |
| 6 Cards | Three of a Kind | 7:1 |
| 6 Cards | Straight | 10:1 |
| 6 Cards | Flush | 15:1 |
| 6 Cards | Full House | 20:1 |
| 6 Cards | Four of a Kind | 100:1 |
| 6 Cards | Straight Flush | 200:1 |
| 6 Cards | Royal Flush | 1000:1 |
A winning ₹100 bet at 0.95:1 earns ₹95 net and returns ₹195 in total: in effect a 5% commission on an even-money win.
Pair + looks only at the chosen hand, so it can pay even when that hand loses the main comparison.
The 6 Cards bonus combines both hands and takes the best five-card poker hand. Here a flush beats a straight, unlike in the three-card game, and one pair or two pair do not pay.

The Real RTP of Each Bet
We calculated these figures from the payouts in the official rules: Pair + by checking all 22,100 possible three-card hands, the draw by counting every pair of matching hands, and the 6 Cards bonus by simulating 600,000 deals.
| Bet | How often it wins | Return to player |
|---|---|---|
| Player A or Player B | About 49.95% | About 97.5%, matching the published figure |
| Tie | About 0.11%, roughly once in 900 deals | About 5.64% |
| Pair + | About 25.6% | About 93.1% |
| 6 Cards | About 7.3% | About 91% (simulation) |
A 50:1 win returns 51 units including the stake. Multiply that by the tiny chance of a draw and you get about 5.64%, nowhere near the headline 97.5%.
For every ₹100 staked on Tie over time, you can expect about ₹5.64 back and a loss of about ₹94.36. A single ₹100 bet either loses ₹100 or returns ₹5,100, but over many rounds the average is what counts.
Avoid the Tie bet. At 50:1 it looks generous, but it returns only about 5.64% of what you stake over time.
The side bets also return less than the main bets. None of these averages predicts a short session, and our strategy guide explains why no staking system can turn a negative expectation into a positive one.
An Example Round

Neither hand has a pair, flush or straight, so the highest card decides: Player A's ace-high A-7-6 beats Player B's ten-high 10-5-4.
Neither Pair + bet wins. The six cards together (A, 10, 7, 6, 5, 4) also miss every paying 5-card hand: 4-5-6-7 needed an eight for a straight.
A ₹100 bet on Player A would earn ₹95 net; the same ₹100 on Tie would be lost. The table itself was denominated in USD; rupees are used here for illustration.
Interface, Statistics and Mobile
The table shows a central countdown, clearly coloured betting fields and chips of 0.2, 1, 5, 20, 50 and 100. Each main field displays the share of bets placed on it.
The statistics area has Game statistics, Table information and Winnings statistics tabs, with A/B results on the left and a results road on the right. After betting closes, a panel shows both three-card hands and the combined bonus result.
Past results do not influence the next round: the deck is freshly shuffled every time. Mobile play depends on your casino's app or mobile site; check the layout there before betting.
Tips for Playing
- Stick mainly to Player A or Player B. They have the best return on the table, though still in the house's favour.
- Avoid the Tie bet. A draw is so rare that 50:1 does not compensate for it.
- Treat side bets as extra spending. They raise the total at risk and return less.
- Ignore patterns in the history. A run of one colour does not make the other colour due.
- Set time and loss limits. Rounds run back to back, so it is easy to bet more than planned.
If you dispute a result, keep evidence of the bet: the rules require a screenshot or video and an appeal within 30 days.

Our Verdict
Our score is 7/10. Teen Patti by ElCasino offers a readable live format and a fair main bet, but the Tie market sharply weakens the overall package.
It suits players who like watching two hands play out without further decisions. If you want bluffing and the classic social game, our variations guide explains the alternatives.

FAQ
What is Teen Patti by ElCasino?
It is a live dealer game in which two three-card hands, Player A and Player B, compete. You bet before the deal on either hand, a draw or the side bets.
What is the RTP of Teen Patti by ElCasino?
The rules give an optimal return of 97.5%, which matches the Player A and Player B bets. By our calculations Pair + returns about 93.1%, the 6 Cards bonus about 91% and Tie about 5.64%.
Should I bet on Tie in ElCasino Teen Patti?
The maths says no. A draw happens roughly once in 900 rounds, and at 50:1 the bet returns only about 5.64% of what you stake over time.
What happens to my bet if Player A and Player B tie?
Bets on Player A and Player B are refunded. The Tie bet pays 50:1, and each side bet is settled separately against its own paytable.

It takes the best five-card poker hand from both three-card hands combined. Three of a Kind is the lowest paying hand at 7:1, and a Royal Flush pays 1000:1.
Can I play Teen Patti by ElCasino on mobile?
The game is streamed through your casino, so mobile play depends on that casino's app or mobile site. Open the table on your phone and check the controls before betting.
